Sudbury will play host to the 2019 Mining and the Environment International Conference June 23-28. The event is a joint effort of Laurentian University’s School of the Environment and Goodman School of Mines, and the Canadian Land Reclamation Association. It will bring together technical experts from the industry, government and academia interested in the environmental aspects of mining. Participants are coming from around the world to address mine, land and waterways rehabilitation, biomining, waste management, and related environmental protection issues.
