As the Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental and Security Manager and Trainer, Simon is responsible for managing, improving and promoting the company safety manual, performing Job Safety Analysis and work site assessment for new/existing work site, inspections, supervising Contractor operators, Enforcing legislation and developing company policies and procedures, Prepare and responding to Audits, Tracking and managing worker compensation claims, Maintaining records, Facilitating Orientations, Safety meeting, Toolbox talks, Training and Educational initiatives, Conducting Accident/Incident investigations, and Preparing and Handling ESRTW plans and assessments.
Simon has been in his current role of Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Security Manager and Trainer since April 27, 2015. Since in this current role, Simon has implemented new policies and procedures for the company, a new maintenance program, and arranged training for new and current employees and ensures a safe environment for employee, brokers and visitors.

Simon got involved in the safety field because he had an interest and wanted to keep his fellow co-workers safe and educated on the various worksites. He became a leader suggesting safety plan changes and trying to get the crew members involved in the plans as well working with the management to implement these changes.
Away from work, Simon enjoys time with his family as well has a keen interest in photography (landscapes and corporate events) as well as he has a small video production company. He is involved with his local church as well as some community programs.
