- Never remove or by-pass machine guards
- Always wear appropriate PPE for the job at hand, including hearing and eye protection
- Keep cords clear of cutting area
- Avoid overreaching. Be sure to keep proper footing.
- Avoid wearing loose-fitting clothes that may become caught in the equipment
- Never over tighten the blade-locking nut
