Greatland Gold intends on beginning exploration activities in Western Australia this October.
Soil, rock chip, and drainage samples will be taken from the Panorama Project site in the Pilbara region, reports Mining Technology, where the English company anticipates to uncover rich deposits of cobalt, gold and other minerals.
Greatland Gold will explore in areas that have “not been subject to significant exploration in the past”, with a focus on uncovering cobalt, a priority mineral, as identified in a statement released by Greatland Gold’s CEO:
Work is anticipated to begin the first week of October.
