Caterpillar’s 2019/2020 Global Operator Challenge Competition will feature the company’s job-site productivity tools as operators “test their agility, mental toughness, and versatility.” Contestants will also be judged on their competence using machines’ integrated technology. Operators will qualify in local heats conducted by Cat dealers, then compete in regional semi-finals competitions held in Japan, Brazil, Spain, and the United States during October and November 2019. Regional winners will travel to Las Vegas for the global finals during Conexpo in March 2020.
