Understanding where you should and should not be while preforming tasks can mean the difference between going home at the end of the day…or not. If there are no safety guidelines and you are not familiar, ask!
Best Practice:
Keep a minimum distance of one foot between you (limbs and digits included) and the piece of equipment or danger zone.
Know the line of fire and whenever possible have momentum away from your body. Accidents can happen!
