ALE has officially launched its 10,000t (11,200USt) capacity SK10,000 crane at the Offshore Technology Conference in Texas, USA. The heavy lift specialist said this is the world’s largest capacity land-based crane and will enable new levels of project efficiencies in schedule, safety and cost for the lifting of ultra-heavy modules, particularly in Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) and Floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) construction.
