Canadian mining company, New Gold, first poured gold at the Rainy River Project.
The pour occurred at the Rainy River Gold Mine, north of Fort Frances, Ontario, where approximately 500 ounces of gold and 600 ounces of silver were produced, according to Mining.com.
The mine is anticipated to have a life of 14-years, and produce an annual average of 325,000 ounces of gold.
