- Only allow train workers to use scissor lifts
- Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions on how to safely operate scissor lifts
- Ensure terrains are free from hazards (i.e. uneven terrain, slopes, holes, bumps, etc.)
- Always be aware of the location of overhead utility wires
- When moving, always use ground guides
