Roadtec RP-250e asphalt paver is a 10-foot tracked unit powered by a Cummins diesel delivering 241 horsepower at 1,900 rpm. It will pave to 233 fpm. The auger assembly can be hydraulically raised and lowered, which, according to the company, can assist in eliminating segregation in certain mixes. Standard sonic feed sensors control each side of the feed system. Each auger is driven by its own motor and the auger chain case width has been minimized to the smallest amount available to further eliminate centerline segregation.
