The Oil and Gas industry has played a big part in Canada’s history and present day economy.  Today in Canadian Oil and Gas history:  1948 – Clover Bar refinery located in Clover Bar, Alberta; began operations.  1959 – The first deposit of oil is discovered in the Yukon Territory.
