Northern Ontario Drivers Ignore Construction Zones

Drivers in Sudbury, Ontario have been ignoring construction zones.

The Sudbury Star reports that 158 drivers have been caught speeding in a construction zone in the city.

The Greater Sudbury Police released the following reminder:

“Speeding is dangerous and costly. In order to keep our roads safe, please observe the lower speed limit and watch for highway workers.”

The Ministry of Transportation of Ontario cautions drivers to be “extra careful when driving through construction zones and areas where people are working on or near the road.”
