The Centre for Excellence in Mining Innovation (CEMI) has a new home. Formerly located in the Willet Green Miller Centre on the Sudbury campus of Laurentian University, the mining research centre has moved to a location in the city’s downtown. In a newsletter issued by the organization, CEMI said it had been well served at the university venue and said great memories were created over 10 years there. “As we were evolving to our new business model, we felt it was time for a change and we are very excited about our new location downtown,” notes the newsletter. “It will increase our visibility in the local business community and allow our team and our guests to take advantage of all that the downtown core has to offer.” READ HERE
