5. Hydraulic oil spill in Nanaimo harbour closes Duke Point ferry terminal
BC Ferries’ Coastal Inspirations leaked 120 litres of hydraulic fluid into the ocean near Nanaimo. The ship was quickly repaired and traffic is being diverted until the clean up has been completed.
