What is the purpose of a Hazard Corrective Action Form?
A Hazard Corrective Action Form is used to identify corrective actions that will or will be taken to correct an identified workplace hazard. It’s an excellent tool that allows workers to:
- List a suggested corrective action for an identified workplace hazard
- Suggest interim controls to protect workers prior to the workplace hazard being permanently reduced/eliminated
- Anticipate a date of completion for corrective action to be taken after a workplace hazard has been identified
- Track how long it takes for corrective action to be taken
- Document who took corrective action to rectify workplace hazards
