Hard Hats

  • There must be clearance between the hard hat and the wearer’s head for the hard hat to properly protect the wearer
    • Never wear caps or hoods under the hard hat, unless specified by the manufacturer
  • Always wear your hard hat facing forwards
  • OSHA states that hard hats should be replaced after no more than 5 years of use
