A worker sustained fatal injuries at the Bridger underground coal mine in Wyoming on Thursday, September 28.
According to an article published by Casper Star Tribune, Jaime Olivas, a mining equipment operator employed by Rocky Mountain Power, was killed when a slab of coal fell on him. Olivas died en route to the hospital.

Rocky Mountain Power, per Sweet Water Now, is fully cooperating with the Wyoming State Mine Inspector’s Office and the federal Mine Safety and Health Administration in the investigation of the fatal incident.
