Emil Anderson Construction has picked up a $85.2 million contract to four-lane a short but challenging segment of the Trans-Canada Highway east of Revelstoke, B.C. The Kelowna, B.C.-based contractor will be responsible for widening an approximately two-kilometre stretch of Hwy. 1 from two to four lanes, as well as expanding a brake-check area to fit up to 15 trucks and building in acceleration and deceleration lanes for vehicles using the brake check READ HERE
