Toledo Station, in Naple, Italy is a subway station on Line 1 of the Naples Metro that opened in September 2012. At 50-meters, it is one of the line’s deepest. The Metro Art Station was designed with a theme of water and light.

Shanghai’s Bund Sightseeing Tunnel was completed in 2000. The 646.7-meter-long subway rail under the famous Oriental Pearl Tower provides riders with a futuristic and bright rail car experience.

Known as the “Dome of Light”, the Formosa Boulevard Station in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan features over 4,500 coloured panels of glass designed by Italian Narcissus Qaugliata.
The Kievskaya Mayakovskaya is a subway station on the Koltsevaya Line in Moscow, Russia. The luxurious station, often considered one of the most beautiful in the line, was built during Stalin’s reign.
Avtovo Metro Station
Petersburg’s Avtovo Metro Station was designed by architect Yevgenii Levinson. The ornate shallow-level station features many ornamental elements, including ventilation grilles. The Russian station also features a mosaic that commemorates the Leningrad Blockade.
Arts Et Métiers Station
The Arts Et Métiers Station in Paris, France, originally opened on October 19, 1904. In 1994, the station underwent massive renovations to give it a steampunk, science fiction feel. Design elements include copper panelling, portholes, and wheels suspended from the ceiling.
The Olaiais Station, part of the Lisbon Metro in Portugal, was designed Tomás Taveira. The station is decorated with multi-coloured ceramic tiles in geometric patterns. The kaleidoscope themed station was voted one of Europe’s most beautiful underground stations.
