Identify all ignition sources on site.

Store Chemicals Safely
Make sure that chemicals are stored according to MSDS and manufacturer’s directions.

Smoking in Designated Areas
Only smoke in designated smoking areas.

Fire Extinguishers
Make sure that there are appropriate working fire extinguishers in place. Also ensure that employees have the proper training to use the extinguishers in the event of a fire.

Prior to using equipment, ensure that electrical cords are free from damage.
